POSITION: Social Media Assistant (entry level)
- Remote contractor, Part-time (7 hours p/w)
Role Description:
This is a contract, remote role for a Social Media Assistant. The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for creating social media content, copy writing across various platforms, and managing social media accounts. This role is fast-paced, offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone looking to build their marketing experience within an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Copywriting tailored to platforms like Instagram, Linkedin and Pinterest.
Create brand-aligned social media content, including graphics and reels using Canva and Capcut.
EDM copywriting in Mailchimp (templates will be provided so strong EDM experience is not required)
Manage social media scheduling, posting, and community engagement
Market/trend research to develop strong, high-performing content ideas
Client analytics reporting - providing your own insights into strategy suggestions or opportunities for growth
Liaise with current and prospective clients
Script writing for UGC projects
Qualifications:
No fancy degree necessary, but 1+ years experience working in the social media marketing space and strong proficiency in the mentioned platforms are a must. Looking for someone genuinely passionate about Monday Muse (and our incredible clients), and happy to be supported by our Director Liv when needed (no such thing as silly questions here).
Skills of the Ideal Candidate Include:
Strong copywriter
Proficiency in Social Media Management
Ability to work independently and remotely
Strong design skills to create aesthetic social media graphics on Canva
Proficient using Notion, Capcut, Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
1+ years experience in the marketing or social media industry required
